Emmanuel is a 7th grader at KIPP Courage @
Landrum Middle School. He likes KIPP because he believes his classmates and
himself are treated with more respect then if they were in another program, he
also really enjoys the field trips the program takes. He heard about KIPP Courage
when Principal Schmidt came to his elementary school for a presentation, he
applied and get accepted to the program, but would have gone to Landrum if he
had not been drawn. Emmanuel participates in Performing Theater, football, and
cross-country as electives. His favorite school subject is reading and his
favorite book is the Alex Rider series. Emmanuel also loves soccer. Being a
great competitor at video games is something quite unique about Emmanuel.
